Kindergarten … Here I Come!

Cumberland County Schools’ Elementary Education Department is holding its annual Kindergarten Beginners’ Day on Friday, April 20 from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. During this three-hour event, prospective kindergarteners will get to see what kindergarten is all about while their parents will be able to meet with administrators in order to enroll them for the 2018-2019 school year. Students who follow the Traditional Calendar in the Cumberland County Schools will make up the Jan. 17 inclement weather day on Monday, January 22, 2018. This was originally a teacher workday.
January 22 is now a regular school day on the Traditional Calendar.

Lil’ Shopper’s Shoppe Discovering the Joy of Giving

 

 

This week the students at LRES are learning the joy of giving.  The Lil’ Shopper’s Shoppe is a program designed for children to shop on their own at school, in a safe, non-commercial environment.  They can learn to budget their money and spend wisely, while also experience the “Joy Of Giving.”
